AWW ~ Facebook Friday Edition ~ Scrapbooking with Project Life® & Blendabilities

Artisan Dec Hop Button-011

Welcome back to another Facebook Friday edition of Artisan Wednesday Wow.  The projects we have to share today were all featured on the Stampin’ Up! Facebook Page last Friday.  Since our projects are a surprise even to each other it’s always an exciting point in the week to get to see what the other Artisan Team girls have created.  This week is no exception and there is plenty of inspiration and beautiful work in these creations this week!  Each of these girls has unique talent and a unique role on this team that has become like a sisterhood.  I love their weekly inspiration, but I love these girls more!

Now on with the projects and the details you might have already been curious about from seeing these creations Facebook!

Last week you saw the set of cards that I created with the new Blended Bloom stamp and colored with the Blendabilities alcohol markers.  I had had a little practice by then so I was gaining confidence in blending with the lighter tones, but when I did this project I had just worked with the darker two tones of Coastal Cabana.  Using the two darker tones ended up with more of a Bermuda Bay color so I was happy with how it turned out and it matched the Project Life® colors.  Here’s how I created my background for this 8 x 8 page.

If you’ve got these markers already, break them open and use them, they are a tonne of fun!  And that Project Life® line will sure help you scrapbook in a snap! Here’s a little close up  of my page.

Let’s hop along to Becky and see her project, it’s bright and fun and I definitely need to make some myself!
