Convention Display Samples ~ Amazing Birthday

Display Board Samples ~ Inspire Create Share ~ Sleepless Stamper

I’ve got a post packed with fun to share with you today!  I’ll be back later with our Artisan Blog Hop post, but for now, this is the start of my samples that were on the Display Boards at Convention.   Be sure to check back in the coming weeks and also make sure to scroll down for links to all of the Display Stampers. We’ve got a pinterest board for you to keep track of our projects in one easy place as well, just click on the Display Board Samples photo above to take you there.  It was an honor to be a part of this group of stampers and to create to provide inspiration for all of you at convention and here in our posts!

These samples all feature the Amazing Birthday stamp set.  When I was creating my samples I tried to create in sets so that they could be used and I could offer them as a themed class.  I’ll be offering this set as a class coming up soon so if you are local and want to come and join me to create this set, you’re welcome to come stamp with me!

Now, here is the matchy, matchy set of cards I created with the Amazing Birthday stamp set.

I had set out with some different ideas on how to use each of the stamps in this set and came up with a variety of ways to stamp with them. I think this more obvious use of this stamp is my favorite from this ensemble!  I used Coastal Cabana, Rich Razzleberry, Smoky Slate and Basic Black.  After embossing the card front with the Big Shot and an this fun new embossing folder, I ran my Whisper White craft ink pad over the top to give it a little something extra.

This next one, was a little more work. I punched holes that I would set the greetings behind, then filled in some of the black space by adhering colored circles to the black before embossing with the embossing folder.  The black layer is actually attached with dimensionals to pop it up from the greetings.  I love that Hand-Carved background stamp.  I stamped it with Whisper White ink and just let it dry rather than heat embossing it.

The last two here I made as notecards.  Here’s one that combines a couple of the greeting stamps.

For this last notecard-sized care, I used half of the banner image to make smaller banners so I was actually able to get enough for two cards from each stamp.  Since I planned to offer classes with all of these cards and many of my display samples, I made duplicates for myself to keep so this worked out great!
